Laguna Beach is my hometown filled with creativity, inspiration and a whole lot of History! Here is a quick list of things to do!
Take the Trolley around town
Park anywhere in town and catch the (free) Trolley at one of its convenient stops around town. There is a trolley tracker app where you can check and see how close the trolley is.
Take a walk around Heisler Park
This is a gorgeous spot to walk around. Snap a photo at the Gazebo, have a picnic on the grassy lawn, watch the surfers along the beach, and people watch at Main Beach.
Visit Art Festivals and Museums
The Laguna Art Museum and Wyland Gallery are a must see. Both unique in their displays. Be sure to also catch the Festival of Arts. They display artwork of all kinds, including student art! The Sawdust Art Festival (happens in the Winter and Summer) is an incredible experience for the entire family. It’s a great place to find one of a kind treasures from local artists.
Discover the Tide Pools
The marine life in Laguna is fascinating. Take advantage of the little spot at Treasure Island beach (near Montage).
Coffee break at Laguna Co or MoonGoat Coffee
Laguna Coffee Co is in the heart of the HIP District. From their freshly brewed coffee and yummy pastries to their ambiance, stop by to help kick start your morning or give you that afternoon push. Plus, it’s right across from the ocean! MoonGoat Coffee Roasters is a convenient walk up or drive thru coffee shop and their coffee is real good….
Take a stroll around The Hip District
With art galleries, eateries, shops and more, The Hip District is an awesome area to explore.
Hungry? Grab a quick snack or lunch
One of my favorite spots in town lately is Mercado Laguna! It’s a gourmet market–plus curated retail, vintage, and florals in North Laguna. Their grab and go lunches made by Summer’s Table are so delicious! Another delicious spot for a quick treat or trendy lunch is Rye Goods!
Must-Shop Boutiques
Tuvalu is my all time favorite store in Laguna. I wish our whole home could be furnished by Tuvalu. They sell unique coastal and beach-inspired items for your home. You also have to stop by Hobie Surf Shop, Thalia Surf Shop. and Good Together House!
Enjoy live music and dinner at The Ranch
One of my absolute favorite spots is The Ranch! The sustainable resort has delicious food, mocktails and live music daily–including a special evening where the owner shares some of his favorite vinyls with you! It’s a beautiful place to watch the sunset.
Stock Up on Refillable and Sustainable Products
Leave Laguna Beach with new rituals after visiting Laguna’s first refill store—Ritual Refill. I stop by this store often to discover new products for our low waste journey and refill our items! Another spot for similar items is EcoNow!
