One thing I know to be true is that when you have a baby, people and their generosity is incredible. The love and support we’ve felt is truly amazing. People have been asking what we need, bringing us food, gifting us items and handing down all the goodies!
We’ve kept a running tab of people to thank and set out to search for the perfect thank you cards. I immediately jumped to Etsy as I try to support small shops as much as I can.
We decided to just make our own using scrap cardstock we have lying around our tiny house and envelopes that have been sitting around waiting to be used.
It turned into a family affair as my husband measured and cut the paper to fit the envelopes, then wrote “Thank You (in a variety of ways) on the front of the cards.” I wrote the messages inside and addressed the cards, and then we added a few fun (and random) stickers we’ve been holding on to too!
In the meantime, our daughter wrote thank you cards to her little friends—mainly thanking her friends for being kind and playing with her!
