We are absolutely loving life with a newborn again. I think it’s because this time around we’ve been such free spirits when it comes to stuff.
Here is what we’ve been using in these early days. All of these items are either from facebook marketplace, friends and family, or what we’ve had around the house:
MESA Infant Car Seat by Uppa Baby (The deal was a car seat with two bases and we knew we had to have it! It’s been great to interchange the car seat between our cars)
Dock-A-Tot (We loved this baby lounger when our daughter was a newborn and knew we had to find another one. We use this daily!)
Small Dresser (This one was tricky. We set up a small closet nursery and with the mini crib that we got, we only had a small space to work with. We ended up finding a small dressed that was the perfect size! This has been great for storing clothes, diapers, blankets, and eventually–toys!)
Alma Papa Bloom Crib and Changing Table (The woman that we purchased this from ended up being my coworkers daughter! I found that out during the exchange as the conversation went)
Onesies and Swaddles (…keep them coming! We love love love hand-me-down onesies and clothes. They’re so cute)
Uppa Baby Vista Stroller (My coworker gave us one that she used with both of her babies! We were honored and extremely thankful, because we didn’t have a plan for one at that time)
Backpacks as diaper bags (Anything can be a diaper bag. We are using a backpack that we had around the house)
Bottles (We kept ours from the first time and swapped out the nipples. So far our son has been loving them)
