Since Laguna Beach is my hometown and also where our little family currently resides, I wanted to make a list of things to do in my hometown. This list is perfect for a quick trip to Laguna for the day. Laguna is such a unique town filled with creativity, inspiration and a whole lot of History. It’s impossible to really grasp all that it has to offer in one day, but with this list, you’ll tackle some pretty rad things and get a little taste of its goodness.
Not knowing what to expect during pregnancy can bring about anxiety. Then, when you become a mom, even more stress is added on while trying to figure out your “new normal.” Being a woman is freaking hard, am I right!? Pretend City Museum in Irvine, CA is an awesome place where children can learn how the real world works through imaginative play using the museums’ interactive exhibits mirroring the real world. Everything at the museum is so lifelike and real that it’s kind of funny to look at it from a child’s perspective.
Located just outside of Disneyland Parks, Downtown Disney is the perfect mixture of food and entertainment with a little something to do for the whole family! It’s the perfect getaway when you’re needing that Disney fix, it’s a great date night spot, or even a pregame to your Disneyland Hotel vacation before you head to the parks. As you all know Mother’s Day sneaks up on us and next thing you know you’re last minute shopping for something meaningful/useful for your special lady. I’m so grateful to have found a children’s book series that points our kids to God in a compelling way.
This past weekend, we attended Disney on Ice, “Dream Big” in Long Beach, CA. Watching our baby girl in awe of the show brought me back to my childhood and all those feelings I felt in that same moment. Seeing her giant smile gazing at the organized chaos through extremely talented and entertaining ice skaters was so cute I could’ve cried.
Did you know that a lot of toys that children play with today are made with harmful chemicals? It’s pretty scary. Luckily, we can choose to make better decisions for our own health, for the health of our families and for good ole’ Mother Earth.
In the words of my dear friend Tupac Shakur, “California knows how to party!” While, Mr. Shakur was mainly talking about the City of LA, the good ole’ Watts, and the City of Compton, overall there is nothing like the Golden State of California. A place that when you arrive, you instantly feel
