Everything You Need to Know About Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues Anaheim

Posted in Family Fun

If you love music, dancing and brunch, then the Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues Anaheim is a MUST experience. Each Sunday of the month, the House of Blues in Anaheim (at GardenWalk) hosts an electrifying and uplifting Gospel Brunch that will get you on your feet dancing and singing along. I know, because I recently attended one and I think I sat down maybe once (because I had to eat, of course). Read on to hear more about my experience at Sunday’s Gospel Brunch.

The term gospel means “good news” and the House of Blues in Anaheim definitely brings the good news of the Lord in a high energy, one-of-a-kind experience unlike any other brunch I’ve been to before. What I loved the most about it was that the music is something for everyone to enjoy. The songs are inspired by traditional gospel music, salsa, rock, and even reggae. I was so impressed by their range and their ability to entertain and involve the whole audience.

As for the brunch, we got to enjoy a southern inspired soulful menu that included signature brunch dishes (biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, etc…), brisket carving, an omelet station, chicken and waffles, a salad bar and a dessert. Drinks included: decaf and regular coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice and water. There’s also a bar that serves bottomless mimosas for $15. This is an awesome deal! Take full advantage of this option, especially if you arrive early.

Also, I was very impressed by the House of Blues staff. They were friendly & helpful, and came around frequently to refill drinks, clear plates, etc… They were frequently on the floor and were always so positive.

The energy of the performers and the amazingly talented band blend perfectly with a delicious buffet to make the House Of Blues Anaheim Sunday Gospel Brunch a must-do activity on a Sunday afternoon. It will have you waving your napkin, stomping your feet and letting your soul soar!

It’s the perfect setting for families, groups and special occasions. Speaking of special occasions, they really make whatever you’re celebrating special. They sing a special song and it’s AMAZING!!!!
