CHILL At The Queen Mary Introduces America’s First Ice Adventure Park

Posted in Family Fun

Well, well, well, SoCal families. Since it looks like we’re not going to experience a true cold winter (do we ever??), we can, however, experience something somewhat similar thanks to The Queen Mary’s CHILL event which is back for another season of icy family fun! This year, attendees will experience America’s first Ice Adventure Park, and holiday traditions from around the world. Let me tell you, it’s overwhelmingly awesome (and COLD).

You and your family will not want to miss the Queen Mary’s 38,000-square foot Ice Adventure Park that includes many activities:

  • Ice skating
  • Ice tubing
  • Ice bumper cars
  • Ice tricycles
  • Ice shuffleboard
  • Zip lining
  • and more!

New this year, CHILL celebrates cultural traditions from around the world by featuring a global sampling of international food, drinks, and live entertainment. In addition there are light shows, DJs, dancing, fireworks (on specific nights) and a nightly tree lighting ceremony. Traditions represented at CHILL are from Germany, Holland, Switzerland, China, Russia and The North Pole. Here is just a tiny sneak peek of some of the things that you will see at CHILL this year!

This looks like so much fun! I would love to go ice biking and ride the ice bumper cars! I live in sunny Tucson, so we don’t get much of a Winter here either.
